What We Believe

What We Believe

At Rancho Dos Countries, our beliefs are grounded in the truth of God’s Word and centered on the redeeming love and power of Jesus Christ. These core doctrines guide our mission, our message, and our ministry:

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They reveal His character, His will, and His plan for humanity.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)

The One True God

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal. He is the Creator of all things, holy and just, loving and faithful.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He became fully man without ceasing to be fully God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He will one day return in glory.
(John 1:1–14; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

The Fall of Man

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, but through voluntary disobedience, fell into sin. This brought physical and spiritual death, separating us from God.
(Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12–19)

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through repentance and trust in His atoning death and resurrection, we are forgiven, reborn, and brought into right relationship with God.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; John 3:16)

Water Baptism & Communion

We believe in two ordinances of the Church:

  • Water Baptism – by full immersion, as an outward declaration of our new life in Christ.

  • Holy Communion – a symbolic act of remembrance, honoring Christ’s sacrifice until He returns.
    (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience following salvation, given to empower believers for bold witness, spiritual growth, and effective ministry.
(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Luke 24:49)

Speaking in Tongues

We believe that speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, as experienced in Acts and affirmed throughout the New Testament.
(Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44–46; 1 Corinthians 14:2–5)

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers across time and place who have received salvation. The Church exists to worship God, disciple believers, love one another, and reach the lost.
(Ephesians 1:22–23; Romans 12:4–5; Matthew 28:19–20)

The Blessed Hope

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church. This is our Blessed Hope. At that time, the dead in Christ will rise, and living believers will be caught up to meet the Lord and be with Him forever.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–18; Titus 2:13; John 14:1–3)
